New Adult and Continuing Education Chamber Member Benefit Created by Five Towns College

  • Developing the Long Island workforce

  • Assisting Long Island employers to attract and retain employees

  • Strengthening Chambers of Commerce by providing value added benefits to members

  • Removing barriers to higher education for working adults

  • Designing new and emerging educational opportunities that meet the targeted needs of regional employers

A presentation, articulating the importance of this adult and continuing education member benefit will be provided.

It is expected to expand throughout the Long Island Community over time and will help our workforce and businesses obtain local talent, skills and training to accelerate the Covid-19 recovery.

We appreciate this innovative program and benefit created by Five Towns College, and welcome its President, Dr. David M. Cohen, JD to present and take questions.

We would also like to encourage our business and professional members to attend and learn about partnering with FTC to offer this resource to their employees as an educational benefit.

The Melville Chamber of Commerce presents the Business Resource Roundtable. The purpose of the Roundtable is to provide a forum for Chamber members to bring their specific business questions, issues or problems to a group of peers. Based on their knowledge & experiences, attendees offer possible solutions and/or identify available resources that may assist in the solution. Roundtable participants can request solutions, offer experienced advice, and assist each other in bringing their companies to a higher level of performance.

This is a free resource to Chamber Members and will be hosted by a different Chamber Member business each month. Space is limited, so registration is required.
